Jaipur handicrafts present to you an embellished design jharokha hanging. This hanging is made out of purely brown wood._x000D_ Jharokha is a type of overhanging enclosed balcony used in the architecture of Rajasthan. It was used in Indo-Islamic architecture. Jharokhas jutting forward from the wall plane could be used both for adding to the architectural beauty of the building itself or for a specific purpose. The projected balcony is an essential element of Rajasthani architecture, both as decoration and as a viewing platform. This beautifully designed jharokha hanging consists of a pattern of the Peacock on the top. This peacock pattern has a special place in Indian architecture. Many Hindu sculptures use peacocks as a symbol of the cycle of time. The Peacock is also associated with Goddess Saraswati, a deity representing benevolence, patience, kindness, compassion, and knowledge. It has a unique relation with Lord Krishna too as the feather of Peacock always finds its hold in Krishna's crown._x000D_
